Below are just some of the ways I have worked to support students, families, and our schools:
- Partnered with the PTA to bring filtered water stations to Forest Avenue.
- Donated an additional freezer to support student needs at Forest Avenue.
- Worked with the district to provide meals for families during the Thanksgiving holiday.
- Donated blacktop stencils to elementary schools for student recreation.
- Donated colorful fence signs to brighten school properties.
- Advocated for wiser spending, and ensuring the needs of all students are met.
- Worked with Steve Maucere to advocate for safer road conditions and helped place signs throughout the community.
- Donated sound equipment and projectors, sponsored events, and supported multiple PTAs across the district.
- Donated recreational equipment to support students during recess at multiple schools in the district.
- Co-authored a children's book with my daughter focused on self-advocacy and donated all proceeds back to the community.
These are just a few examples of my commitment to giving back and staying involved. I believe in showing up, taking action, and doing what I can to support our students and strengthen our community.
